Managed
flexible office space provider, Canvas
Offices [1], has been named a winner at the
prestigious Small Business Awards 2024
The
London-based company, renowned as the ‘masters of the space’, secured the
coveted prize for ‘Fastest Growing Small Business’ at the awards, which are
held annually and celebrate the UK’s best performing small businesses over the
previous 12 months.
Judges
were impressed by the fantastic growth that Canvas has achieved since launching
in 2018, securing an impressive £6.5 million turnover, as well as attracting
£2.5 million in investment from leading alternative finance provider ThinCats.
The
firm, which recently scaled its own headcount to 26, has taken the capital’s
office space industry by storm, having built a portfolio of 15 different
buildings throughout central neighbourhoods such as Mayfair, Shoreditch,
Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Old Street, and Holborn. Canvas’ success and growth
can be attributed to its ‘homeification’ design principles, bespoke client
offerings, and dedication to creating social value through a community-first
approach.
Co-founded
by two entrepreneurial brothers, Yaron and Oren Rosenblum, who moved to the UK
from Israel in 2005, Canvas was also announced among this year’s finalists for
‘Small Family Business of the Year’, in recognition of its design-led approach
to office space.
Speaking about Canvas’
success at the awards, Yaron said: ‘Our entire team is absolutely delighted that
we’ve secured the title of ‘Fastest Growing Small Business’ at the Small
Business Awards. I would like to thank them for all their hard work and
dedication in making this happen, and also the judges for recognising the
amazing growth that we’ve achieved as a business over the last six years.
‘We are hugely proud of
the portfolio of buildings that we’ve built, and we want to thank all our
partners and clients for their support.’
Headquartered in Shoreditch, Canvas
sources and repurposes vacant, self-contained buildings spanning 5,000 – 25,000
SQFT.
Agreeing long-term 25 year leases, Canvas
has successfully developed a model that benefits landlords and tenants alike,
and boasts an average 98.4% occupancy rate across its entire portfolio, with
growing waiting lists and strong occupier demand.
