The company has had no choice but to go into administration and have ceased trading from the early hours of Thursday March 5th.Already in serious financial difficulties and Government involvement failing to facilitate the £100 million needed to keep the airline running, the last thing Flybe needed was the huge fall in bookings caused by the global reaction to the spreading coronavirus. The jobs of 2,000 staff are at risk directly, as will others be that support the airline at many of the smaller UK airports they fly to and from.
