Having commenced his journey in the property industry over 10 years ago, Reece Mennie has since founded and developed multiple successful businesses in the industry, including property investment specialist, Hunter Jones Group, and nationwide property developer, HJ Collection.
He, along with his highly skilled team, have successfully raised £200+ million through well-structured property investments to fund the development of over 5,500 units across the UK via Hunter Jones Group. Furthermore, he has acquired 15 commercial to residential sites and established a pipeline Gross Development Value (GDV) of £75+ million through development firm, HJ Collection.
As such, Reece has successfully accelerated the growth of both businesses with the latter forecast to increase by over 30% by the close of 2024 alone.
In recognition of his achievements, Reece has been shortlisted for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year' in the prestigious Property Week Awards alongside 8 other finalists.
Celebrating the key players in the commercial property industry across 26 different categories, the Property Week Awards will take place at Grosvenor House Hotel on 3rd July 2024.
Commenting on this latest achievement, Reece Mennie said: "Over the last 10 years or so, I have worked hard to set both my businesses aside from industry competitors in the property industry and am truly honoured that this has been recognised by the Property Week Awards.
Of course, this wouldn't have been possible without the support from my team for which I am incredibly grateful. I now look forward to the awards ceremony in July and wish all other finalists the best of luck."
Based in his homeland of Essex, Reece Mennie also works hard to support local businesses and members of the community.
Not only is he an investor and director of Loughton based Boxing Academy, Dennis & Dyer, which is fast becoming a go-to fitness establishment in the Essex area, he also supports young and aspiring entrepreneurs with their own business ideas through dedicated mentoring sessions.
