Firms urged to use own site to hire
Small firms are being urged to use their own company website to recruit new staff.
Following the success of big corporate companies such as the BBC and Marks and Spencer, smaller firms are seeing the benefits of adding a recruitment page to their websites in order to save heavy recruitment agency fees.
Rav Bains, principal at KPMG sourcing advisory services, says “online recruitment has traditionally been a preserve of larger organisations, but many small firms are now introducing a career section on their company website”.
He added: “The internet is becoming an important recruitment tool for all employees regardless of size."
